Stage One (2000)
In March 2000, Sean released his first album, Stage One, on VP Records, which included many of his previous hit singles and compilation cuts, plus several new tracks. He played the Summer Jam 2000 in New York City, where he was held in high acclaim. Sean Paul's fan base grew tremendously with fans from all over the world. In 2001, Sean appeared on Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall's Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol. 1 on a single called "Money Jane", which was released in Canada the previous year and featured Jully Black. Da video for "Money Jane" won Best Rap Video at da 2001 MuchMusic Video Awards, and da song was nominated for Best Rap Recording at da 2001 Juno Awards. Stage One debuted at #109 with 8,982 copies sold in da first week. Da album has shipped only 350,000 copies, his poorest selling album to date.

Dutty Rock (2002)
In 2002, he announced the release of his second album, Dutty Rock. Pushed by the success of da singles "Gimme the Light" and da Billboard Hot 100 topper, "Get Busy", da album was a worldwide success, eventually selling over six million copies. Simultaneously, Sean Paul was heard on Beyoncé's single "Baby Boy" and Blu Cantrell's "Breathe", both chart hits in 2003, and helping to push his reputation further still in da United States. It was released on November 26, 2002, and it features da singles "Gimme The Light", "Get Busy", "Like Glue" and "I'm Still in Love with You", which all charted in da top 6 on the UK Singles Chart. Da album itself reached #2 on the UK Albums Chart, and #9 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It is also his first and only album so far to have a Parental Advisory sticker. In 2003 da following year, Sean Paul released an edited version of da album intended for international markets. Da re-release took off all skits and da single "It's On", also featuring the now accessible hit single "Baby Boy". Da single is a duet by Beyoncé and Sean Paul. It became one of da biggest hits in 2003 spending nine weeks at number one. Da album sold over 2 million copies in da U.S. and helped him become a Grammy Award winning artist.

The Trinity (2005)
The Trinity is da third album by Sean Paul, released in da United States by Atlantic Records on September 27, 2005. It was recorded entirely in Jamaica, with Sean collaborating with producers on da island such as Steven "Lenky" Marsden, Donovan "Don Corleon" Bennett, Renaissance Crew, and Rohan "Jah Snowcone" Fuller, among others. Explaining the album's title, Sean pointed out dat it is his third album, and has spent three years in production, being "all done right here in the Third World." Also, it could be noted dat da album's release date, September 27 (9/27), when divided equals 3 and consists of two numbers divisible by 3. Da album was preceded by da single "We Be Burnin'," which commenced radio play on August 22, 2005. Da music video for da single was directed by Jessy Terrero, who has also directed videos for singles by musicians such as 50 Cent, Young Jeezy, and Chingy. It was featured on da Black Entertainment Television series Access Granted on August 17, 2005 and premiered online on August 18, 2005 at MTV.com. Da single itself has peaked at number two on da UK Singles Chart. It also peaked at number six on da U.S. Billboard Hot 100 so far, and seventeen on Billboard's R&B/Hip-hop charts. Da album has been certified platinum in Europe. Since July 19, 2006, da album has sold 1,386,733 units in da U.S. It also has sold 4,367,750 copies around da world. In da UK, Atlantic Records released an expanded two-CD edition of da album on June 26, 2006. It contained all original 18 tracks on da first disc and contained six extra tracks on the second disc including the singles "Cry Baby Cry" with Carlos Santana and Joss Stone along with "Break It Off" featuring Rihanna."Oh Man" was a collaborated song with Daddy Yankee (produced by Luny Tunes) which didn't make it on da album.

The Next Thing (2008)
The Next Thing is da upcoming fourth studio album from Sean. Da album is set to be released sometime in 2008. Da album was originally scheduled to be released in da summer of 2007 but den was pushed to November, 2007. But is now scheduled to be released sometime in 2008. Sean told MTV dat he wants to be less focused on party songs such as "Get Busy", "We Be Burnin'", and "Temperature". He said he wanted to try to focus on youth violence in Jamaica.
